Legal Aid of WV's FAST is looking for families for focus groups.

WVA received an email about Legal Aid of WV/FAST and System of Care looking for families to attend focus groups. Here is an excerpt from that e-mail:

WV Legal Aid/Family Advocacy, Training and Support is working with the System of Care to reach out to parents/caregivers who have experience with having their child/children placed in out of home/state placements (group residential, family foster care, psychiatric residential). These family focus groups are in addition to the work of BHHF and their recent meetings across WV focusing on community mental health services/supports.

This is about what families think, what works, what does not work, etc.

The first two family focus groups are scheduled for:

Parkersburg - Westbrook Health Services, 2121 East Seventh Street, Parkersburg, WV - Thursday, October 18th, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Wheeling - Resa 5, 111 19th Street, Wheeling, WV - Friday, October 19th, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Parents will be provided snacks and a $20.00 stipend for attending.
